Installing the remote is easy. Simply look for the DIP Codes inside the old remote with the battery cover off, where the DIP Switches are hidden behind the slot for the battery. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote, replace the battery, and you're good to go.

This Ceiling Fan Remote Control is a standalone unit, with no additional components included in the package.
