COREBAY Fan Remote UC7078T With Up Down Light is a New Original Genuine OEM product that is FCC and UL approved, and highly durable. It is designed to replace the Hampton Bay ceiling fan remote control UC7078T. Please note that this item does not include a Receiver or 9V battery.

If you have multiple fan lights in your house, it is important to check if their PIN codes are different. Otherwise, the remote control next door may inadvertently turn on your ceiling fan, causing it to function unexpectedly when you are not at home.

The features of this remote control include ceiling fan and light on/off, 3-speed (High, Medium, Low) control, with dimming and Up/Down Light buttons. It offers quick response and good usability. The up light has a dimming function, and the down light can control the fan lights on or off, preventing the bulb from flickering.

To use the remote control, normally, after unpacking the package and installing the battery, it will work. If not, please follow these steps:

1. Locate the 4 DIP switches in the battery compartment (they are hidden behind the slot for the battery itself).
2. View the inside of the old remote after removing the battery and note the pattern of the DIP switches.
3. Slide the DIP switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the old remote.
4. Install the battery in the new remote, and it should now work.

There are 16 different frequencies for Hampton Bay fans, and you can find the corresponding DIP switch pattern (0 is down and 1 is up) in the user manual.

The package includes the Remote Control, Wall Mount, 2 Screws, and a User Manual. It does not include a 9V battery.
