Product Description The Universal ceiling fan remote controls kit is UL listed and FCC ID approved. It allows you to upgrade a traditional ceiling fan to a remote-controllable one. It is compatible with most ceiling fan lights with AC motors, but not suitable for DC motors. It is compatible with most downrod-style fans, but not recommended for use with hugger-style fans. Please note that the remote will only work with the receiver included in the package.

Light Dimmer Short press the green button to turn the light ON/OFF. Press and hold the button to change the brightness. Compatible with all incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED and dimmable CFL bulbs. Do not use the dimming function if the LED and CFLs are non-dimmable, as dimming can cause flickering or damage.

How to Use Set the 4 dip pin codes before installation. Set the same pin codes on the transmitter and receiver. The default setting is 0000 (0 is OFF, 1 is ON), which is not recommended. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, please make sure that the PIN code settings are different between fans. If you want to use 1 remote to control multi-fans, or use multi-remotes to control 1 fan, just set the same pin codes on remotes and receivers. There are 16 different combinations, choose any of them - 0000 (not recommended).

Battery Type The remote requires 2 AAA batteries, not a 9V battery. The batteries are not included.

Ergonomically Designed The remote is ergonomically designed for comfort.

Ultra-thin Receiver The receiver has a compact design, making it easy to install.

Cautions The product should be installed by a qualified electrician. Please make sure there is enough space in the fan canopy to fit the receiver before ordering. If your fan has pull chains, turn them to the maximum speed position and turn the light on (if any) to get the correct speeds and functions.
